I feel like I haven’t gotten to breath this year. There has been a lot going on, and not enough time…
Coming up soon we have a shoot day at Monocacy Brewery for their Dog Spa Day Sept 20-noon to 3pm
October 2nd we will be at the last Yappy Hour of the season at The Wine Bin in Ellicott City from 6-9pm.
October 20th we’ll be starting on a 5000 mile journey traveling out to Colorado for a few days and a dog show, before coming back through PA and traveling up to photograph an obedience and rally trial in Essex Junction, VT on Halloween, and All Saints Day (Nov 1). On our way back to the studio we’ll be making a great trip down through NH, MA, NY/NJ, CT/RI, and parts of PA through November 7/8th. If you are interested email Info@BSPhotography.net to set up your session.

Portrait Exhibition at Bra-La-La in Maple Lawn, Fulton, MD October 24th, 2014 6-8pm
We are getting a late start since this summer was such a busy time this year. But this time it’ll be even greater than last years, Must Love Drool calendar.
This year because of some family member health issues, we added a new member to the family, and appropriately named her “Hope” (or as her registered name states, “A Shot in the Dark”) and have her being out main calendar model this year. She is the daughter of last year’s calendar model, Shooter, so I expect great things out of her as we go through this calendar.
Our beautiful calendar girl, ready to pose with several other “Hope’s” and the support color ribbons for the 2015 Calendar.
One of the many photoshoots from the Mastiff Club of America (MCOA) Nationals in Westminster, CO in 2014. Photo by BS Photography/Bryan Sirotkin (All Rights Reserved)
Back from Mastiff Nationals earlier this month, we’ve been busy editing photos, and getting the prints done. But it is time now to plan out our fall.
Our Trips will include another trip out to Colorado in the Denver area, a trip down to NC through Richmond, VA and Newport News and back up through the Western part of VA. We are also looking to get down to LA, and out to the west coast for a little bit.
After having some technical issues preventing the uploading of the Westminster photos, they are now up.
I’m really hoping the storm holds off like they are saying it will for this weekend. It will only complicate getting to and from the Westminster Kennel Club show in New York for so many.
I will be up there this year photographing several breeds. Blue Tick Coonhounds, Boston Terriers, Chinese Cresteds, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, and Golden Retrievers are on the list, and I will be sitting by the Great Danes for as long as my schedule allows (and the judge takes for the judging). If you are around for the days come down and say hi. I don’t know which benching area I’ll be around most of the time when I’m not shooting, but I’ll be finding those handlers that I know and like talking to for that time if I can.
